Floyd is butterfly with a difference. He paints his wings black and tries to rebel against his parents who are frustratingly encouraging. He lives underground, in a bottle below his parents' flower and goes to Millimetre High School. Floyd is the lead singer in the band; The Whatevers, made up of his friends Greta, the spider; Sting, the bee and Slater, the bug who never talks.
